Danielle Collins, Medical Scribe
Danielle’s interest in nutrition was sparked when her family visited a holistic-minded physician, achieving great results. It was incredible to her to experience first-hand how getting to the root cause of illness is a powerful approach to healing.
After falling in love with high school freshman biology and exploring potential careers, Danielle realized that holistic medicine would be her future. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, earning degrees in biology and nutrition. She took fascinating electives in food sustainability and agriculture, food anthropology, integrative and traditional Chinese medicine. Through her classes, volunteering, and research experience, she learned about a variety of healing modalities. They also exposed her to socioeconomic factors in healthcare and environmental issues.
Soon Danielle would discover the lifestyle medicine world. It deeply resonated, and she sought mentorship in the field. Though Danielle grew up only one town away from Long Valley, she stumbled upon Ethos by chance through a conversation at a party. Danielle is extraordinarily grateful to be part of the Ethos family, loving her role as a medical scribe. She feels blessed to have such amazing coworkers and to work with such inspiring patients.
Outside of medicine, Danielle devotes time to her creative passions, poetry and songwriting. She is also deeply connected to faith and is committed to her Jewish practices.
